National Day of Mourning

Sisters, Brothers and Friends,

This year’s Day of Mourning event will be held on Friday, April 26th (since April 28th is a Sunday).As shown on the attached poster, participants can begin gathering at the Union Centre at 11:00 AM for the 11:30 Leaders’ Walk down Broadway to the Workers Memorial in Memorial Park (corner of Broadway and Osborne) where a ceremony begins at Noon and runs to approximately 12:40 pm.We hope to see you there as we honour fallen workers and renew our commitment to prevent future tragedies.
