September 16, 2022 at 12:00 AMThis is a virtual eventJoin Winnipeg’s unions to kick off United Way Winnipeg’s Campaign for 2022 by taking part in Walk This Way and joining ‘Team Solidarity’!Union members can join the team and help walk, roll, ride and stroll to our collective team goal of 1919 kilometres. Through solidarity and collective action, we can show the impact of Winnipeg’s labour movement when we join together to get things done.It gets even better—if all Walk This Way teams collectively reach a grand total of 100,000 kilometres, this year’s sponsors will donate an additional $100,000 to United Way Winnipeg. So, join Team Solidarity to help us reach our 1919 target, and then help us go above and beyond to reach the bigger collective goal.Together, we can do this!Walk This Way officially runs from Sunday, September 11 through Friday, September 16.
