“We are very happy with the initial announcement for transit security and safety initiatives.” Said Chris Scott, President of ATU Local 1505. “This has been a project that’s been near and dear to our union representatives, our members, and the riding public for some time. We are glad that Mayor Gillingham and Councillor Lukes are committed to making transit safer – which is clearly indicated by this budget.”
